An Oakhurst man is facing prison time for allegedly stalking a woman in Fresno.
The big picture: A federal grand jury has charged Preston Nelson-Kestner, 21, of stalking and distribution and possession of images of child sexual exploitation.
- From October 2023 and February 2024, Nelson-Kestner used social media applications to cause substantial emotional distress to an adult victim in Fresno.
- He used social media apps to send threatening messages to the victim and sent videos and images of a minor engaged in sexually explicit conduct.
What we’re watching: Nelson-Kestner faces a maximum of five years in prison and a $250,000 fine for stalking, if convicted. He also faces a minimum of five years in prison up to 20 years in prison for distribution and a 10-year maximum sentence for possession of images of child sexual exploitation.
