Clovis City Councilmember Vong Mouanoutoua, who won his reelection bid in November, was sworn in as the new Clovis Mayor on Monday.
Councilmember Diane Pearce joined Mouanoutoua atop the council’s leadership as Mayor Pro Tem.
The big picture: Mouanoutoua and Councilmember Lynne Ashbeck both won reelection last month.
- Mouanoutoua was first elected to the council in 2017, while Ashbeck has been on the council since 2001.
- They were both sworn into office during Monday’s council meeting and will serve terms running through November 2028.
