Clovis Unified’s O’Farrell highlights Fresno State’s class of “Top Dogs”

Eimear O’Farrell, Clovis Unified Superintendent, is among the honorees for Fresno State’s top award for distinguished alumni.

Fresno State’s Top Dog Awards Gala is on the horizon in September, but the list of honorees was recently released.

The Top Dog Award is given to alumni of Fresno State who “embrace the Bulldog spirit and have made significant contributions to their profession, the University and the community.”

The award is presented to the top alumni from a bevy of departments.

O’Farrell, who received a Doctorate in Education from the university, is receiving the Top Dog Award from the Kremen School of Education.

The Distinguished Alumnus Award is being presented to Brian Panish, who is a renowned trial attorney and partner at Panish, Shea & Boyle LLP in Los Angeles.

Chris Pacheco, a former Fresno State nose tackle and Los Angeles Ram, is receiving the Top Dog award from the Athletics Department.

The Craig School of Business is presenting the Award to Jim Vagim, who serves as President and CEO of United Auto Credit Corp.

Antonio Petrosino is receiving the Arthur Safstrom Service Award during the September gala.

Charles Sant’Agata is receiving the award from the College of Arts and Humanities.

The Jordan College of Agriculture is presenting its award to Helder Domingos, president of Westech Systems, Inc.

Jan L. Kahn, partner at Hanford-based Kahn Soares & Conway LLP, is receiving the award from the College of Social Sciences.

Barry Maas, the President and CEO of Administrative Solutions, Inc., is being presented the award from the Division of Student Affairs and Enrollment Management.

Ken Meme, chairman of Towill, Inc., is receiving the award from the Lyles College of Engineering.

The College of Health and Human Services is presenting its award to university social work lecturer Cher Teng Bee Yang.

And Timothy Kotman is receiving the award from the Division of Graduate Studies.

The Top Dog Alumni Awards Gala is to be held on Friday, Sept. 20 at the Save Mart Center.
